Enrolling in the Arc Mercer’s Pet Benefits & Insurance

The Arc Mercer is excited to offer pet benefits and insurance options for employees, making it easier to care for your furry friends! Whether you’re looking for discounts on vet visits and pet supplies or comprehensive pet insurance, there’s an option for you.

How to Enroll in Pet Benefits

Enrollment is done through Paycom or the Wishbone Pet Insurance website, depending on the plan you choose.

Option 1: Total Pet Plan (Discount Program) – No Cost to Employees

This plan provides discounts on in house medical services at participating vets, medications, food, and more. It’s available for all types of pets and even covers pre-existing conditions.

Steps to Enroll in the Total Pet Plan:

1. Log into Paycom and go to the Benefits Tab.

2. Click Benefits Enrollment - Continue - Benefit Plans and select View Details to learn more about the plan.

3. Choose Coverage Level (1 pet or 2+ pets).

4. Click Save and log out.

Within 48 hours, you will receive an email from Pet Benefit Solutions with instructions to set up your Pet Assure/PetCare Rx account. This will allow you to:

• Schedule discounted vet appointments.

• Order medications, food, and pet supplies at reduced prices.

• Check if your vet participates in the program. If they don’t, you can invite them to join at no cost!

Option 2 and/or 3 : Wishbone Pet Insurance – Insurance Policy for Cats & Dogs

Wishbone Wellness - All types of Pets

Wishbone Pet Insurance provides traditional pet insurance, covering accidents, illnesses, and more.

Wishbone Wellness (Essential or Premium Plan) helps cover the cost for routine preventative care for all types of pets.

Steps to Enroll in Wishbone Pet Insurance and/or Wishbone Wellness:

1. Visit Wishbone Insurance.

2. Click Enroll Now and enter your ZIP Code.

3. Enter your pet’s name, type (dog or cat), gender, age, and breed.

4. Answer medical questions and enter your email.

5. If satisfied, you can select either the Insurance or One of the Wellness Plans or both.

   
   

6. If satisfied, click Select Coverage and confirm your selection.

7. Enter your information (Paycom ID: 14D69) and verify your details.

When Does Coverage Begin for the Wishbone Pet Insurance?

• If you enroll between the 1st–15th of the month, coverage starts on the 1st of the next month.

  • Example: Enroll on July 10, coverage starts August 1.

• If you enroll between the 16th–31st of the month, coverage starts on the 1st of the following month.

  • Example: Enroll on July 16th, coverage starts September 1.

Plan Costs

If you choose only one of the following options, the cost is:

Total Pet Plan: FREE (Paid for by the Arc Mercer).

Wishbone Pet Insurance: The Arc contributes $10.61 per the bi-weekly premium. The remaining cost is payroll deducted.

Wishbone Wellness: FREE

If you choose a combination of two or all three options, please contact the Benefits Team for guidance on total cost.
