Recognition in Action: A Record Month for Nominations at the Arc Mercer

The Arc Mercer is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone in our culture of appreciation and recognition. In April, staff submitted 54 Employee of the Month nominations, the highest number of nominations we’ve received so far this year.

This achievement reflects something bigger than numbers. It shows that employees across the agency are taking the time to recognize the hard work, compassion, leadership, and dedication they see every day in their coworkers.

Whether it’s a teammate stepping up during a difficult shift, supporting consumers in meaningful ways, or simply bringing positivity and reliability to the workplace, these nominations help shine a light on the people who make a difference.

Every nomination tells a story, and together those stories help strengthen the supportive culture that makes the Arc Mercer special.

The Team Atmosphere Committee (TAC) wants to thank everyone who participated and encourages staff to keep the momentum going. Recognition is one of the most powerful ways we can support one another and celebrate the impact happening across our programs.

As you continue submitting Employee of the Month nominations, don’t forget about our other recognition opportunities as well:

  • Rising Star of the Month: celebrating consumers and program participants who demonstrate growth, perseverance, leadership, and meaningful progress toward their goals.

  • Dawn Carmosino Team Impact Award: recognizing individuals whose compassion and dedication create a positive impact that reaches beyond their everyday responsibilities.

Great work is happening throughout the agency every single day, and your nominations help ensure those stories are seen and celebrated.

If someone has made a difference in your program, your team, or the lives of the people we serve, take a moment to submit a nomination and help us continue building a culture of appreciation at the Arc Mercer.
