Stephanie Rutledge Named Employee of the Month

The Arc Mercer is proud to recognize Stephanie Rutledge as our latest Employee of the Month, celebrating more than 30 years of service and a continued commitment to the health, independence, and well-being of the individuals she supports.

Stephanie was nominated by Residential Director Tami Mckenzie-Henry, who highlighted the consistency, patience, and leadership Stephanie brings to the Greenwood program every day.

“Stephanie has proven over and over again that she is 100% invested in the health and wellness of the consumers in her care,” Tami shared. “She is extremely kind and patient with the Greenwood consumers and is great at assisting them to reach their goals and obtain independence.”

Throughout her career at The Arc Mercer, Stephanie has become someone her team can depend on. She advocates for the individuals she supports, brings forward ideas that strengthen the program, and regularly steps in wherever help is needed.

Her impact also extends to her coworkers. Stephanie plays an important role in welcoming and assisting new staff, sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained over three decades of service. During annual inspections and audits, she consistently goes above and beyond to help ensure Greenwood is prepared and successful.

“You don’t have to ask Stephanie to help with anything at Greenwood,” Tami said. “She is always ready to assist, and if she can, she will. She is very deserving of this nomination, and I want to let everyone know that she is seen.”

As Employee of the Month, Stephanie receives a signed and framed certificate from the Office of the Executive Director and a $250 gift card.

She also becomes one of 12 monthly honorees eligible for Employee of the Year, which includes a $1,000 prize and is announced at the agency’s annual Fall gala.
