Second 2026 Job Fair Triples Turnout for Key Programs

The Arc Mercer’s Recruitment Team wants to send a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our second job fair of 2026 a massive success.

While our first job fair of the year focused on general hiring, this event specifically targeted open positions in our Janitorial and Day Program teams, while continuing to hire for our Residential homes. Thanks to everyone's hard work, we brought in incredible results that will help us keep providing top-quality care across Mercer County.

The Results at a Glance

We welcomed 110 attendees through the doors, leading to great immediate hires and a strong pool of talent for the future:

• Janitorial & Day Programs Tripled Attendance: Our targeted marketing worked incredibly well. We welcomed 27 candidates for Janitorial and 31 for Day Programs, tripling the turnout from our last fair for both departments!

• Residential Success: The Residential team hired 16 candidates on the spot, and kept another 13 candidates on file for upcoming training and future openings.

• On-the-Spot "Superstars": We met six applicants who were such a perfect fit that we hired them right during the event, two for our Special Needs Day Programs (SNDP) and four for Residential.

• Strong Team Referrals: Our current staff remains our best recruiting tool, bringing in 37 candidate referrals for this event.
