Rising Star of the Month: Clayton Miller

The Arc Mercer is proud to recognize Clayton Miller as Rising Star of the Month for his positive attitude, helpful nature, and active participation in daily life at the Senior Day Program.

Clayton is known for being a thoughtful and dependable individual who consistently looks for ways to contribute and support those around him. He takes pride in helping with everyday responsibilities, including cooking, cleaning, and medication routines, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and independence.

One of Clayton’s standout qualities is his willingness to help others. He takes initiative by keeping an eye out for transportation arrivals and notifying staff when the vans have arrived for him and his peers. This simple but meaningful act reflects his awareness, consideration for others, and desire to be helpful whenever possible.

Through his daily actions, Clayton sets a positive example and contributes to a supportive environment for both his housemates and fellow program participants.

His dedication to helping with household tasks and assisting those around him demonstrates the values of teamwork, responsibility, and community inclusion.

Nominated by Crystal Donaldson of Great Woods, Clayton was recognized for the many ways he contributes each day, including assisting with cooking, cleaning, medications, and helping ensure transportation is ready for everyone.

As part of this recognition, Clayton will receive a signed and framed certificate from the Office of the Executive Director, a $100 gift card, and a congratulatory balloon.

The Rising Star of the Month program celebrates individuals who demonstrate personal growth, independence, leadership, and a commitment to their community.

Clayton’s contributions and positive attitude make him a deserving recipient of this honor.
