Employee of the Month Ashlie Tuccillo | DSP, Senior Day Program

The Arc Mercer is proud to honor Ashlie Tuccillo as the March 2025 Employee of the Month for her unwavering dedication, compassion, and service to the seniors in the Senior Day Program. Nominated by Hannah Lugat of the Healthcare Center, Ashlie consistently goes above and beyond to ensure those around her—both participants and peers—feel supported and valued.

Ashlie plays a pivotal role in the daily lives of the seniors she serves. From preparing meals and organizing community trips to offering comfort and encouragement, her care is present in every detail. Her cheerful demeanor and calming presence create an atmosphere of warmth and stability, not only benefiting the seniors but uplifting her entire team.

“She is happy to be helping others,” shared Hannah. “She cares for our seniors and shows it by getting them lunch every day among other things. She organizes trips for them as well and is always there for them when they need her. She is also very pleasant to be around and is there for her peers when we need her to be. This demonstrates what it is to go above and beyond to be there for others—and this is what we are about at Arc Mercer.”

Ashlie leads by example—quietly, humbly, and with heart. Her consistent kindness and dedication reflect the very best of the Arc Mercer mission. As part of her recognition, she received a $250 gift card and a certificate of achievement.

In addition, Ashlie is now one of 12 employees eligible for the Employee of the Year Award, which will be presented at the Arc Mercer’s Annual Gala this fall. This honor is reserved for staff who exemplify excellence in service and embody the values that drive the agency’s work each day.
