The Arc Mercer recently held its TAC Awards Luncheon, a cherished tradition that highlights the organization's commitment to employee recognition and appreciation. The event, organized by the Team Atmosphere Committee (TAC), brought together Arc Mercer staff in the agency's cafe for a complimentary lunch and awards ceremony.
Employee Recognition Takes Center Stage
The TAC Awards Luncheon serves as a testament to Arc Mercer's unwavering dedication to acknowledging the hard work and dedication of its employees. The event not only boosts morale but also reinforces the agency's core values of teamwork, respect, and inclusivity.
The awards ceremony recognized outstanding individuals in several categories:
Rising Star of the Month: This award is presented to a consumer who has demonstrated remarkable progress and growth. Rising Star Award winners receive a signed and framed certificate from the OED (Office of Executive Director) and a $100 gift card.
Employee of the Month: This award honors an employee who has consistently gone above and beyond in their role. Employee of the Month Award winners receive a signed and framed certificate from the OED, a $250 gift card, and an Employee of the Month lapel pin.
Work Anniversaries: Arc Mercer recognizes employees who have dedicated their time and talents to the agency for 5, 15, 20, 25, or 30 years. Each honoree receives a customized Arc Mercer plaque, a gift card (increasing in value with each milestone year), and a service lapel pin.
Special Donation from the Ewing Fire Department
The May/June luncheon featured a special donation from the Ewing Fire Department, which will contribute to Autism Awareness initiatives. The Arc Mercer is grateful for this generous gesture from the local community.

Abraham was honored for his caring and compassionate nature, his ability to bring joy to those he serves, and his unwavering dedication to the individuals at the Hilltop location.
