The Arc Mercer’s Residential Program once again delivered a memorable and meaningful Easter celebration, bringing together consumers from across its group homes for the annual Easter Brunch.

The highly anticipated event showcased not only the spirit of the holiday, but also the dedication and teamwork that define the agency’s residential services.

With significant planning behind the scenes, staff volunteers played a vital role in making the event a success, assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup to ensure a seamless experience for everyone in attendance. Their commitment helped create a welcoming and festive environment where consumers could relax, connect, and celebrate together.

A highlight of the brunch was the delicious spread prepared by Chef Jerry Scotto, whose culinary talents added an extra layer of enjoyment to the day. Consumers enjoyed a variety of thoughtfully prepared dishes while spending quality time socializing with peers and staff.

The celebration extended beyond the brunch, as group homes across the agency hosted their own Easter weekend festivities. From outdoor picnics to lively Easter egg hunts, each home created opportunities for fun, engagement, and community connection. These smaller gatherings allowed consumers to celebrate in ways that were both personal and meaningful, reinforcing the sense of home within each residence.

Together, the weekend’s events reflect the strength of the Arc Mercer’s Residential Program and its ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of those it serves. Through thoughtful planning, teamwork, and a focus on community, the Easter celebration was a true success.
