Celebrating Our Employee of the Month Honorees

Each month, The Arc Mercer recognizes employees who go above and beyond in their commitment to the individuals we serve, their coworkers, and our mission.

We are proud to celebrate three recent Employee of the Month honorees:

Heather Mino, Rosemary Reed, and Uldad Posy.

March Employee of the Month: Heather Mino

Heather Mino, Employment Specialist at OTC-Yardville, was recognized for the passion, determination, and hard work she brings to her role every day.

“Heather is the epitome of hard work,” shared her nominator, fellow Employment Specialist Sam Murray. “Her passion for her work shines through her and all of the consumers she works with. Even when facing barriers or challenges, Heather finds a way to keep moving forward, which inspires the rest of the team at OTC.”

Heather's commitment to overcoming challenges and supporting those around her makes her a deserving recipient of this recognition.

May Employee of the Month: Rosemary Reed

Rosemary Reed, Employment Specialist at OTC-Yardville, was selected for her initiative, leadership, and dedication to ensuring every individual receives the attention and support they deserve.

Nominator Sam Murray credited Rosemary with having a major influence on his own development as an employee, sharing that she consistently takes the lead and looks out for consumers, including those who may be less vocal about their needs.

“She works extremely hard and is a big reason why I turned out as the employee I am today,” Sam shared. “All of my hard work is thanks to being inspired by her lead.”

June Employee of the Month: Uldad Posy

Uldad Posy, DSP at the Campus Day Program, was recognized for the kindness and dedication she demonstrates even when no one is watching.

“Posy is a very gentle spirit. The consumers love her. She's very easy to work with,” shared nominator Allana Hicks, DSP. Allana recalled seeing Posy voluntarily mopping a dirty floor at the end of the day without being asked, one small example of her willingness to step up wherever she is needed.

“She’s great with our people and does things not required of her even when she’s not being watched or asked. She’s a wonderful employee.”

From Employee of the Month to Employee of the Year

Each Employee of the Month receives a $250 gift card, signed and framed certificate from the OED, and special recognition from The Arc Mercer. More importantly, each honoree becomes one of just 12 employees eligible to be named The Arc Mercer's Employee of the Year.

Heather, Rosemary, and Uldad are now in the running for that distinction, with the Employee of the Year announced at The Arc Mercer's Annual Gala this fall.
