Celebrating Excellence: Meet Three Arc Mercer Employees of the Month

At The Arc Mercer, the quality of our programs begins with the people who bring our mission to life each day. Our Employee of the Month program recognizes team members who demonstrate exceptional dedication to the individuals we serve, support their colleagues, and consistently go above and beyond in their work.

We are proud to celebrate three recent honorees: Heather Mino, Rosemary Reed, and Uldad Posy.

March Employee of the Month: Heather Mino

Heather Mino, Employment Specialist at OTC-Yardville, was recognized for the passion, determination, and perseverance she brings to her work.

“Heather is the epitome of hard work,” shared fellow Employment Specialist Sam Murray, who nominated her for the award. “Her passion for her work shines through her and all of the consumers she works with. Even when facing barriers or challenges, Heather finds a way to keep moving forward.”

Heather's commitment to supporting the individuals in her program while helping strengthen the team around her exemplifies the dedication we value throughout The Arc Mercer.

May Employee of the Month: Rosemary Reed

Rosemary Reed, Employment Specialist at OTC-Yardville, earned the May honor for her leadership, initiative, and commitment to making sure every individual receives the attention and support they deserve.

Sam Murray, who also nominated Rosemary, credited her with having a lasting influence on him as a colleague and professional.

“She works extremely hard and is a big reason why I turned out as the employee I am today,” he shared. “All of my hard work is thanks to being inspired by her lead.”

Rosemary's willingness to lead by example and advocate for the people around her has made an impact on both the individuals we serve and her fellow employees.

June Employee of the Month: Uldad Posy

Uldad Posy, Direct Support Professional at the Campus Day Program, was recognized for the kindness, dependability, and initiative she demonstrates every day.

“Posy is a very gentle spirit. The consumers love her, and she's very easy to work with,” shared her nominator, DSP Allana Hicks.

Allana described seeing Posy step in at the end of a busy day to take care of something that needed to be done without being asked, one example of the many quiet ways she supports her program and those around her.

“She’s great with our people and does things not required of her even when she’s not being watched or asked,” Allana said. “She’s a wonderful employee.”

Recognizing the People Behind Our Mission

Heather, Rosemary, and Uldad each received The Arc Mercer's Employee of the Month honor and are now among the employees eligible for Employee of the Year, which will be announced at The Arc Mercer's Annual Gala this fall.

Their stories are representative of the commitment demonstrated by employees throughout our organization every day. From helping individuals build greater independence to creating welcoming, supportive environments, our team members play an essential role in advancing The Arc Mercer's mission and strengthening the communities we serve.
