Richard Galgano | November Employee of the Month

Cultivating Growth Through Purposeful Support

The Arc Mercer proudly recognized Richard Galgano from our Occupational Training Center, as the November 2025 Employee of the Month for his thoughtful leadership and deep commitment to meaningful outcomes for the consumers he supports. With four years of dedicated service, Richard is known for approaching his work with care, intention, and a steady focus on long-term impact.

Nominated by Rosemary Reed, Employment Specialist, Richard was recognized for consistently making decisions rooted in the best interests of consumers and the agency’s mission. His leadership is especially evident through his work in the horticulture program, where he has invested significant time teaching plant care and job-readiness skills.

Richard’s vision extends beyond daily tasks. His focus on preparing consumers for future employment opportunities, including work on the Arc Mercer Farm, reflects a commitment to growth, independence, and sustainability. Through hands-on guidance and thoughtful planning, Richard continues to help build pathways that empower individuals and strengthen Arc Mercer programs.

Ciera Kriegner | December Employee of the Month

Positive Leadership in Action

The Arc Mercer is also proud to recognize Ciera Kriegner, Site Supervisor in the Janitorial Program, as the December 2025 Employee of the Month. Ciera was honored for her professionalism, initiative, and consistently positive leadership style.

Nominated by Kathy Rhead, Administrator of the Day Program, Ciera was praised for her upbeat attitude, responsiveness, and willingness to step in wherever support is needed. Since transitioning into her supervisory role, she has demonstrated adaptability and confidence, maintaining high standards while requiring minimal direction.

Ciera shared how meaningful this recognition has been, stating, “I feel seen, I feel heard, and I feel appreciated.”

Her nominator echoed this sentiment, with Kathy Rhead noting, “She’s amazing, and we are so grateful that you are a part of our team, and we love having you there every day.”

As part of her recognition, Ciera received a signed and framed certificate along with a $250 gift card.

Honoring Excellence and Looking Ahead

Both Richard Galgano and Ciera Kriegner exemplify the dedication, leadership, and heart that drive the Arc Mercer forward. Their contributions strengthen programs, support consumers, and elevate teams across the agency.

As Employee of the Month honorees, Richard and Ciera will each be among 12 individuals eligible for Employee of the Year recognition at the annual Fall Gala. Their achievements serve as a powerful reminder that the Arc Mercer’s impact is shaped every day by the commitment and passion of its people.

Movie-inspired fashion has always played an important role in shaping modern trends. Recently I noticed how unique the wardrobe concepts are becoming in upcoming films. The styles seen in Project Hail Mary 2026 Outfits really reflect a blend of futuristic and casual fashion. It’s exciting to see how cinema continues influencing everyday clothing.

There’s something nice about finding clothing that feels usable in real life, not just in photos. While browsing Vanson Jackets, this design felt practical and calm. The Japanorak Jacket looks like something you can throw on without overthinking your outfit.
