At The Arc Mercer, we believe that the best way to grow as an organization is to grow together. That’s why we prioritize promoting from within—empowering our dedicated staff with real opportunities to build lasting, fulfilling careers in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) support.


This past quarter, we proudly recognized four internal promotions that exemplify our commitment to professional growth:


  • 1 Part-Time Behavior Shift Manager

  • 1 Behavioral Direct Support Professional (BDSP)

  • 1 Senior Behavior Group Home Manager

  • 1 Part-Time Shift Manager


Each of these individuals began their journey with The Arc Mercer in different roles, but all shared one thing in common: a desire to make a difference. Through hands-on experience, ongoing training, and strong mentorship, they advanced their skills and leadership abilities—and were rewarded with meaningful career progression.
