Celebrating Excellence: Arc Mercer’s Star Award Winners Raise the Bar in Quality and Care

At Arc Mercer, excellence isn't just a goal—it’s a standard. This quarter, we proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of our Residential and Day Program teams who earned Platinum and Gold Star status through our internal performance recognition program.
The Platinum Star Awards recognize programs that go above and beyond in three critical areas:
Medication Error Prevention
Community Inclusion through Outings
Therap Documentation Compliance
By the Numbers: Q3 Performance Highlights
A total of 246 gift cards were distributed to staff across the agency, totaling over $21,000 in bonuses.
11 out of 24 group homes earned Platinum (A) Star status, reflecting the highest standard of care and engagement.
The remaining homes received Gold (B) Star status, still meeting strong benchmarks for performance.
Platinum (A) Grade Criteria:
0–2 medication errors per quarter
10 or more recreation events attended per month
90–100% submission rate for monthly projections
80–89% recreation attendance
0–6 missing Therap entries for the quarter
Gold (B) Grade Criteria:
2–10 medication errors per quarter
8–9 recreation events attended per month
80–89% projection submissions
70–80% recreation attendance
7–12 missing Therap entries for the quarter
Recognizing Dedication
Celebratory events were held at Arc Mercer headquarters, Residential and Day Program staff gathered to be recognized for their achievements and to receive their bonuses. These events were a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the dedication of our staff and the measurable impact of their work.
Each Platinum and Gold Star recipient contributes to a culture of excellence that ensures individuals supported by Arc Mercer receive the highest quality care, enriched community experiences, and data-driven support.
