Direct Care

Provide direct care services for individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities within group homes or supervised apartments, or at day, recreational and vocational programs. Full-time, part-time and substitute positions. Rotating and flexible hours. Qualifications include high school diploma/GED, experience in the Human Services field. Some positions require a valid driver’s license. Due to continuous expansion of our program services, Direct Care positions are almost always available.
$8.60 per hour.

Applicants have an opportunity to add an additional $1.00 to their starting rate of $8.60 based on qualifications, experience, certifications and degrees. After successful completion of a three (3) month probationary period, employees have an opportunity to earn an additional $.25 added to their base hourly rate. Employees also have an opportunity to earn an additional $.20 after successful completion of the RITE (Recognizing Initiatives & Training for Employees) Program. During an interview, Human Resources will explain the program to you.
