Our Mission: The Arc Mercer is committed to securing for all people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals.
Membership
The Arc Mercer depends on the support of its members so that we can continue to provide quality services. Membership and donations provide an important source of funds for the programs and activities we provide.
Further, your support will help strengthen our voice when we encourage state officials and legislators to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Benefits of Becoming a member of the Arc Mercer:
Members pay a nominal fee and are entitled to a range of benefits, including membership with The Arc New Jersey and The Arc of the United States as well as a subscription to The Arc Mercer’s newsletter and discounts on event fees. In addition, you will:
Receive regular communications from The Arc Mercer as well as newsletters from the national and state organizations
Receive invitations to special events
Demonstrate your support to the community and to the New Jersey State and national legislatures
Vote and help provide direction to The Arc Mercer as we continue to provide much-needed programs and services
Become part of the family at The Arc Mercer!
Your membership can begin at one of the following levels:
_$25 Basic (includes free admission to Walk-a-thon picnic and 5% discount on Touch of Taste gift baskets & catering)
_$50 Silver (includes free admission to Walk-a-thon picnic, 10% discount on Touch of Taste gift baskets & catering, and 5% discount on Fall Awards Dinner tickets)
_$100 Gold (includes free admission to Walk-a-thon picnic, 10% discount on Touch of Taste gift baskets & catering, and 10% discount on Fall Awards Dinner tickets)

IN KIND DONATIONS
Many corporations, businesses, retailers and individuals donate new and gently used items to The Arc/Mercer. To donate your gift-in-kind, please call (609) 406-0181 or e-mail us for free pickup.
Car Donations - Why not donate your car (or boat) to The Arc/Mercer? It may be worth more as a tax deduction. Help children and adults with developmental disabilities. Call (609) 406-0181 for a free tow.
Wish Lists - Specific items, new or used, are needed in each of our programs. See what they're wishing for.
Project Lovin' Touch - Beautiful crafts, art and decorative accessories are being sought for our group homes and supported living apartments. The goal is to create homes that are more gracious and comfortable.
Corporate/Business Gifts-in-Kind - The Arc/Mercer gratefully accepts donations of items for our special events - including everything from flower arrangements to gift certificates to weekend getaways. Gifts-in-kind are also most welcome and needed at our group homes and day programs.
Distribution Warehouse - The Arc/Mercer is setting up a Distribution Warehouse that can receive large lots of manufactured goods suitable for use by non-profit organizations in our region. Representatives from participating non-profits can select what they need.
