The Arc Mercer is committed to providing quality programming for our consumers and their family/guardians. We believe that this must involve the highest levels of trust which can only be achieved through open and honest dialogue with our consumers, and their families or guardians.
Families and guardians are, therefore, entitled to proactive outreach from the Arc Mercer as it relates to:
- Emergencies (both personal/physical plant) and their resolution within 24 hours of the occurrence
- Changes in Residential managers or any major changes in Day Program Staffing
- Relocations for Residential participants
- Major facilities issues which may disrupt routine programming
- Achievement of IHP goals,
- Issue regarding job pay or failure to provide PNA or daily allowance
- Pending court or legal actions
- Routine medical visits
- New consumers moving into Residential units or major reorganizations of work groups
- Issues with job performance
- Refusal of consumer to participate in day program
- Concerns of mistreatment of Day Program participants
