Club Hero

Club Hero is a social club for individuals with disabilities who are over the age of 21.
Members can participate in:

  • Social events– This includes dances, dinners, parties, and other activities.
  • Club classes– Lessons are given on topics ranging from music to painting to cooking.
  • Heroes on the Move– Day trips have included sporting events, Broadway shows, concerts, and much more!
  • Traveling Heroes– Weekend excursions may range from Niagara Falls to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

All activities and trips are supervised by ARC staff and volunteers. Club members also get to help plan activities based on their interests. Visit our monthly calendar. Fees apply; financial assistance is available.

We are also a local training program for the Special Olympics!

Club Hero provides the opportunity for individuals with disabilities to participate in many Special Olympics sports, from bowling to basketball.
